# Cerrax

## What Cerrax does

The price, which is the part that is unlike the rest of the category:

- Computes a price for a removals job from facts about the job, not judgements about the customer.
- Produces an identical price for identical inputs, every time, from any member of a firm's team.
- Explains every component of a price separately — volume, distance, access, crew, time.
- Records when a firm overrides a computed price, and why.
- Widens its confidence band, and says so, where local calibration data is thin.

And the job the price belongs to, on the same record:

- Takes enquiries from the firm's own website and from lead sites into one list, and holds a
  pipeline with follow-ups, a reason for every lost job, and a report of which sources win work.
- Sends a branded quote the customer accepts online, and takes the deposit and balance by card.
- Puts the booked job in the diary with the crew and vans it needs, and on the crew's phones —
  on the way, arrived, damage photos, a signature.
- Accepts a video of the home filmed by the customer, with each confirmed item marked at the
  moment it was seen in the footage.
- Turns what a firm types, says or photographs into a proposed item list, which prices nothing
  until the firm confirms it.
- Asks every customer for a review after the move, and hands won jobs to Xero or Sage.

## What Cerrax deliberately does not do

- It does not do bulk marketing or campaigns, bookkeeping, tax filing, fleet compliance, or live
  vehicle tracking. Those are integrated with the firm's own providers, never built here.
- It does not allocate a household's enquiry between firms. It is one firm's system, not a
  marketplace, and no firm's data is ever shown to another.
- It does not estimate volume or price with a machine-learning model. Models may propose candidate
  items; a governed registry converts items to volume; a deterministic engine computes the price.
- It does not publish prices for markets it has not calibrated. See "Market availability" below.

engine directly, with no sign-up. It is a Model Context Protocol server (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC)
at https://cerrax-portal-api-zenqusyaia-nw.a.run.app/public/mcp with two tools: `estimate_move` (two postcodes or ZIP codes and the number of
bedrooms) and `list_regions` (where pricing is live). It returns a price range, not a quote: a
removals firm sets the real price after seeing the job. It takes no personal details and keeps none.
