- Is tax included in the price?
- Here is how it works in this market. Prices are in New Zealand dollars, and the amount you see is the whole amount you pay — any GST is included, never added on top. Cerrax is not registered for GST in New Zealand, so there is no GST line today, and if that changes your price does not go up.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. You can price your first job in minutes without one. A card is asked for later, only so that choosing a plan is quick. Adding it takes nothing from you, and the payment provider holds it: Cerrax never sees the card.
- Can I cancel any month, and how?
- Yes. Cerrax is month to month, with no contract, no setup fee and no minimum term. The account owner opens Settings, then Billing, then Manage subscription, which opens the payment provider's own page: cancel there, change plan, update a card or read an invoice. Nobody has to email us. On the free trial, a plan you chose to start when your free month ends is not on that page: cancel it on Cerrax's own Subscription page (Settings, then Billing), with the Cancel button beside it. If you have not added a card, there is nothing to cancel.
- What if Cerrax's price for a job is wrong?
- Then you change it. You can override any price, and the override is kept rather than lost. Every price comes with the reasons behind it, so you can see what moved it. Once you have recorded around twenty finished jobs, Cerrax starts proposing corrections to how long your jobs take, and you approve each one before it changes anything.

What a New Zealand quote has to account for
The hours law reaches the small van: the Work Time Rule applies to any vehicle carrying goods for hire, so even a 3.5-tonne van's day is capped at 13 hours of work — driving, loading and unloading all count — followed by 10 hours' rest. A class 1 car licence drives up to 6,000 kg, which makes the 24–28 m³ rental truck with a tail-lift car-licence work. A move between the islands crosses Cook Strait on a ferry, a fare and a block of time that road kilometres do not measure, and diesel trucks pay Road User Charges by the kilometre rather than tax at the pump.
